NPP communications chief dismisses analyst’s election forecasts

Dennis Miracles Aboagye says political analyst Musah Dankwah’s election forecasts rely on social media chatter, not direct delegate input.
Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the New Patriotic Party’s National Director of Communications aspirant, challenged political analyst Musah Dankwah’s election predictions. He argued that Dankwah’s assessments are built on social‑media chatter rather than face‑to‑face dialogue with party delegates. Aboagye emphasized that the party’s national officers will be chosen by delegates at the National Delegates Conference scheduled for Saturday, October 3, in Kumasi. He warned that such forecasts do not reflect the views of the 7,163 delegates who will cast ballots at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. The aspirant stressed that the party needs leaders capable of delivering on their mandates and that the final decision rests with the delegates. He also called for post‑election unity, urging all contestants to rally behind the eventual winners. The NPP hopes the conference will produce competent officers to steer the party forward.
