Adentan MP assures residents of ongoing development projects

MP Mohammed Adamu Ramadan says the Assembly and government are tackling infrastructure and social challenges in the constituency.
Adentan residents have been promised that key development projects will move forward under the leadership of their MP, Mohammed Adamu Ramadan. Speaking on local radio, the NDC MP said the Adentan Municipal Assembly was working closely with the government to fix roads, improve waste collection and expand access to water. He pointed to recent drainage work in parts of the constituency as proof that action was being taken. The MP also said plans were underway to upgrade certain public facilities, including schools and health centres, that have long been a concern for locals. Ramadan stressed that the NDC government remains committed to delivering on its promise of equitable development across all constituencies, no matter the political setting. He urged residents to continue supporting the assembly’s efforts and report issues as they arise. Community meetings are expected to be held soon to gather feedback and guide future projects. The MP’s comments come amid rising expectations for visible change in Adentan, a suburb that has seen rapid growth in recent years. While some residents say progress feels slow, the MP insists the pace matches the available resources and planning timelines. With local elections on the horizon, the MP’s outreach is also seen as a move to strengthen grassroots ties ahead of the contest. No official timeline was given for when major road works or facility upgrades will be completed. Residents say they will watch closely how promises translate into action on the ground.
