Vanguard Multimedia Launches Integrated Media Platform In Tamale

Vanguard Multimedia Ltd has officially opened its operations in Tamale with a full‑scale multimedia platform that combines radio, television and online publishing under one roof. The company runs NorthCiti Radio 90.1 FM, Zosimli Radio 102.9 FM and NorthCiti TV, all backed by the digital news site NorthCiti Online. Its mission is to produce high quality journalism and engaging content that can be accessed across Ghana and beyond. By rooting its activities in the Northern region, Vanguard says it will create commercial opportunities for businesses, NGOs and local communities while showcasing the potential of media development from Tamale.

NorthCiti Radio targets English‑speaking city listeners and offers a mix of news, talk shows, sports, lifestyle and music programmes such as Breakfast Avenue, Lounge, Today and Sports Express. Zosimli Radio, by contrast, is built around community concerns, featuring the morning programme Dasiba Zosimli and content that reflects the daily lives and cultural practices of northern residents. The two stations therefore address different audience segments while sharing a common platform.

NorthCiti TV completes the offering, extending the multimedia experience to moving images. The launch signals a new phase for northern Ghana’s media landscape, one that blends modern production technology with a focus on locally relevant stories.
