Concurrently, Ghana's tertiary institutions admit 459,567 fresh students for the upcoming academic year starting January 9. This enrollment milestone reflects sustained demand for university education despite economic pressures. The education sector expansion aligns with national priorities under the current policy framework. National service personnel will begin their 2026/2027 postings on October 5 after the NSA portal opened for validation. Applicants must verify locations through the official website before departmental reporting. Monthly evaluation forms support allowance processing within strict deadlines for subvented institution staff. The National Service Act remains the legal foundation governing all citizen service obligations across public institutions.
