Political parties unite over football concerns, raising red flags for Ghana's football authorities.

Former Ghana Football Association Communications Director Ibrahim Sannie Daara has warned that the unprecedented political unity on football issues should alarm Ghana's football governing body.

Speaking on Asempa FM, Daara noted that both the Minority and Majority parties in Parliament, who normally clash on national matters, have found common ground on concerns about the state of Ghanaian football. "The Minority said what football people were too scared to say," he observed, suggesting the political chorus exposed long‑suppressed critiques.

Daara said the parliamentary criticism mirrored grievances already circulating among football insiders. He argued that stakeholders in the game have been hesitant to speak openly about systemic problems, allowing political voices to fill the silence.

The veteran communicator also questioned the performance of Ghana's youth national teams and the pipeline to the senior Black Stars. He claimed many within the football community are uneasy about the youth teams' results and the limited number of players who transition to the senior side.

Daara urged greater honesty among football administrators when assessing the national teams and the player‑development framework. He warned that ignoring these concerns could deepen the crisis facing Ghanaian football.
