Nana B throws hat into NPP VP race, cites 26 years service
Nana B argues youth shouldn't hide his 26 years of NPP service as he seeks National Vice Chair position.
Nana B, aspiring National Vice Chair of the New Patriotic Party, says his youth will not stop him from securing the position. He made this known in an interview on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem.
The 26 year old claims to have served the NPP for 26 years continuously, despite being the youngest among the 13 contestants for the office. He said his experience with the party spans every level from polling stations to the national stage.
Nana B indicated that he started his party journey at age 19, right after completing Prempeh College, when he served as a polling agent in the 2000 general election. He told host Samuel Atta Poku that he was the founding president of the Tertiary Students' Confederacy Network (TESCON) while at the University of Mines and Technology in Tarkwa.
He further mentioned that he has served as a polling station chairman, electoral area chairman, constituency communications officer, and on the party's National Steering Committee. Nana B also recalled his roles in national youth programmes during Sammy Awuku's tenure as National Youth Organiser.
