MTN Ghana Honoured With Four Awards At Governance And Business Leadership Summit 2026
MTN Ghana swept four top awards at the 2026 National Governance and Business Leadership Summit held on September 25, celebrating excellence in procurement, supply chain and operational integrity.
MTN Ghana has clinched four distinct honours at the 6th National Governance and Business Leadership Summit 2026 (NGBLS 2026). The telecommunications giant was recognised for excellence in strategic procurement and supply chain management, outstanding supply chain transformation in the telecommunications sector, and the supply chain leadership of Patrick Afari, General Manager of Supply Chain and General Services. Eugenia Lamptey, Sourcing Manager, also earned a spot in the Top 100 Procurement and Supply Chain Leaders of the Year list. The awards were presented during a ceremony in Accra on Friday, September 25, 2026, under the theme "Governance, Integrity & Enterprise Performance in a Transforming Economy".
The summit gathered business and governance leaders to dissect corporate ethics, accountability and sustainable growth. MTN Ghana’s haul underscores the pivotal role its supply chain team plays in steering the company through rigorous procurement practices and operational excellence. Antoinette Kwofie, Chief Finance Officer, said the accolades mirror the relentless effort of the team and the collaborative spirit across the organisation. She added that MTN will keep sharpening its capabilities to meet the changing needs of customers and stakeholders.
