Matriarch Comfort Jehu-Appiah, 96, of Muzzo, will be honored over three days in October 2026 with vigil, burial and thanksgiving services across the ancestral village.

The Jehu-Appiah and allied clans have confirmed the final public rites for their respected matriarch, Comfort Jehu-Appiah, who died aged ninety‑six.

The closure begins on Friday, 16 October 2026, when family elders and community members will hold a vigil and file‑past at Mozano, near Agona Swedru, beginning at six in the evening.

A day later, Saturday, 17 October 2026, the burial ceremony will take place in the village grounds, with interment commencing at nine in the morning.

The farewell continues on Sunday, 18 October 2026, with a memorial and thanksgiving service scheduled for nine‑thirty in the morning at the Jubilee Temple in Mozano.

Relatives listed among the surviving lineage include children Merd, Juanita and Ali‑Masmadi Jehu‑Appiah, the late Prophet Moknajeeba Jehu‑Appiah, and Needa Jehu‑Appiah; the family also acknowledges thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great‑grandchildren.

Comfort Jehu‑Appiah was remembered for her lifelong example of sacrifice and trust in the External Comforter, with scripture Matthew 25:21 cited in the announcement.
