Graphic and MTN urge SMEs to adopt digital tools and soft skills

Graphic/MTN SMEs Clinic stresses digital adoption and soft skills for small business growth.
The Graphic Communications Group Limited partnered with MTN Business to host a capacity‑building clinic aimed at small and medium enterprises across Ghana. Participants were reminded that success now depends not only on access to credit or careful bookkeeping but also on developing soft skills such as customer communication, problem‑solving and teamwork.
Industry experts highlighted how digital technologies have become essential for reaching wider markets, improving efficiency and staying competitive. They urged traders, manufacturers and service providers to embrace e‑commerce platforms, mobile payment systems and data‑driven decision‑making to modernise their operations.
The call comes as many SMEs continue to face challenges from rising operational costs and shifting consumer habits. By strengthening both technical competence and interpersonal abilities, business owners can better navigate these pressures and scale sustainably.
The workshop forms part of ongoing efforts by the Graphic and MTN to empower Ghanaian entrepreneurs with practical tools and knowledge. Stakeholders hope the initiative will inspire more SMEs to invest in capacity building and adopt innovative practices that drive growth and resilience.
