The UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce (UKGCC) and Ecobank PLC Golf Invitational marked the final day of the UK-Ghana Trade and Investment Summit 2026. The three-day summit, held in Ghana, gathered investors, business leaders, and policymakers to explore trade and investment opportunities. Organisers say the golf tournament, themed "Teeing Up for Growth," served as a relaxed venue for deepening connections made earlier in the week.
Executive Director of UKGCC, Adjoba Kyiamah, highlighted that the sport was not just about recreation but a strategic platform to build lasting partnerships. "Successful business ties are rooted in trust and continuous engagement," she said, noting that the tournament allowed discussions to continue beyond formal sessions.
The summit focused on scaling the UK-Ghana growth partnership over the past decade. Key sessions included policy dialogues, business matchmaking, investment showcases, and the launch of a Trade Resource Centre to support Ghanaian companies seeking UK markets.
