ECG schedules planned maintenance outage in Accra tomorrow
ECG announces scheduled power outage in parts of Accra tomorrow from 9am to 5pm.
The Electricity Company of Ghana has confirmed a planned maintenance outage affecting several communities in the Accra East Region tomorrow, Friday, October 2. The outage will run from 9:00am to 5:00pm as engineers carry out scheduled work to improve service reliability across the electricity network.
Communities set to experience the temporary power loss include Oyarifa, Ayimensah, Prisons Training School, School Junction, University Farms and their surrounding areas in the Greater Accra region. ECG stated the exercise forms part of broader efforts to strengthen the power distribution system and prevent future interruptions for consumers in these neighborhoods.
The affected residents and businesses have been advised to make adequate preparations ahead of the outage period. ECG issued a public notice on Wednesday, September 30, highlighting that the maintenance activities are necessary to enhance long-term service quality for customers within the impacted zones.
