Youth and Sports Committee to summon GFA and NSA over football governance

The Parliamentary Select Committee on Youth and Sports has resolved to invoke Standing Orders to summon the Ghana Football Association and the National Sports Authority. Chairman of the Committee Emmanuel Badu Laekpoh explained that the move is necessary to hold these bodies accountable and address systemic issues affecting the sport. The committee will conduct a thorough examination of both the technical performance and administrative structures of the GFA and NSA, using its powers under the Standing Orders to demand explanations and potential reforms.
