VIP Jeoun Launches New Terminal in Ho to Expand Regional Transport

VIP Jeoun Service has opened a modern terminal in Ho to boost travel between Ho, Accra, and Kumasi while extending its network to key tourism sites across Ghana.
The VIP Jeoun Service has launched a new terminal in Ho to enhance passenger transport connectivity across Ghana. Situated to serve the Volta and Oti regions, the facility marks a strategic expansion aimed at improving inter-regional travel. The company has grown significantly since its founding 17 years ago, when it operated a single route between Kumasi and Accra. Today, it serves approximately 85 destinations nationwide, driven by rising passenger demand for reliable transport options.
VIP Jeoun's General Manager, Mr Adakabre Frimpong Manso, emphasized that operations in Ho were initially piloted alongside Hohoe and Kpando, with plans to extend services to Worawora and Dambai. The move strengthens regional presence in the Volta Region, where demand for accessible transport remains high. While the company already operates international routes between Aflao and Elubo, its focus now is on deepening local and regional integration through expanded service coverage.
The new terminal enables the introduction of a 35-seater executive coach, designed to offer improved comfort with features such as increased legroom and air conditioning. Although passenger preferences historically favored smaller vehicles like 15-seater Ford Transits and 14-seater Toyota Hiaces, VIP aims to cater to evolving expectations for quality and convenience. This service upgrade aligns with broader goals of enhancing travel experiences across tourism hotspots, including Wli Waterfalls and Boti Falls.
