Police Reschedule TRAFFITECH-GH Traffic Management Initiative to November
Police have pushed back the launch of the TRAFFITECH-GH traffic system from October 1 to November 1, 2026.
The national traffic management programme known as TRAFFITECH-GH will no longer commence on the originally announced date of October 1, 2026. The Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) has confirmed the shift to November 1, 2026, to allow for final preparations and testing. This initiative aims to improve road discipline and ease congestion across Ghana's major cities using modern traffic technology.
