Aduana FC Edge Swedru All Blacks 2-1 In Dormaa To Keep Winning Streak

Aduana FC fought back from an early deficit to defeat Swedru All Blacks 2-1 at the Dormaa Sports Stadium on Sunday. Swedru All Blacks opened the scoring in the fourth minute when William Danquah struck first, giving the visitors a 1-0 lead. Aduana FC equalised before halftime through Stephen Amankona’s 36th-minute goal, sending the teams into the break level.

The momentum shifted in the 58th minute when Swedru’s defender Zayat Bubakari received a second yellow card, reducing his side to ten men. Aduana FC exploited the numerical advantage late in the game, with Amankona converting a penalty in the 87th minute to complete his brace and secure the win. The victory marks the home side’s third consecutive league victory.

After five matches, Aduana FC sit third on the Premier League table with ten points. Swedru All Blacks remain in 13th place with five points from the same number of games. The team will travel to Wenchi in Week 6 to face Young Apostles, while Swedru All Blacks host Asante Kotoko at home.

GFA has charged Aduana FC coach Samuel Boadu over alleged gestures toward Kotoko fans, an incident that occurred six days prior. This disciplinary action adds context to the team’s upcoming clash with Asante Kotoko, which the coach has described as an "easy game" to extend their winning run.
