70,072 graduates to serve in 2026/2027 national service batch
First deployment of 2026/2027 national service postings released, registration opens October 1
The National Service Authority released 70,072 postings for the 2026/2027 service year on Wednesday September 30 2026. This is the first batch out of 149,907 applicants who submitted themselves for national service. The verification process cleared 95,689 candidates, of whom 95,197 fully registered. Though many applied only 70,072 have been posted in this initial round. All selected personnel must check their placement online and complete regional validation immediately. Registration for the service year runs from October 1 to October 15 2026 with reporting starting October 5. The Authority urges private and international applicants to finish registration before the deadline to avoid delays. Monthly evaluation forms will appear on the portal between the 15th and 20th of each month. For October they are available from October 15 to 25. These forms are critical for the release of service allowances. The Authority has warned that failure to submit evaluation forms will block allowance payments. Further postings will follow in subsequent batches after this initial deployment. No event was listed in the announcement.
