Burial and Funeral Service for Grace Nortey

The family of veteran Ghanaian actress Grace Naa Kwarley Nortey has announced October 31, 2026, as the date for her burial and funeral service. Grace Nortey, who died on August 26, 2026, at the age of 89, will be honoured with a burial service at the forecourt of the State House in Accra. The family has announced that there will be no wake as part of the funeral arrangements. The service is scheduled to begin at 8:00am, after which her interment will be held privately. The funeral rites will continue on Sunday, November 1, with a thanksgiving service at St Barnabas Anglican Church in Osu, also scheduled for 8:00am. Mourners have been asked to wear white attire on both days. Grace Norte is survived by her 5 children and siblings.
