The family of veteran Ghanaian actress Grace Naa Kwarley Nortey has fixed October 31, 2026, for her final burial and funeral service. The beloved screen personality passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 89. On the burial day, the ceremony will commence at 8:00 am at the forecourt of the State House in Accra. After the public service, her remains will be laid to rest privately. A second phase of the funeral rites begins on Sunday, November 1, 2026, with a thanksgiving worship at St Barnabas Anglican Church in Osu, again at 8:00 am. Mourners have been urged to wear white clothing on both days. Grace Nortey leaves behind five children and several siblings.
