Gov't Secures 1,200MW Gas Deal for New Power Plant
MTD Electricity Company Limited Bui Power Authority is expected to sign agreements for a 1,200 megawatt gas-fired thermal plant before year-end, boosting Ghana's power capacity.
President John Dramani Mahama has revealed plans to construct Ghana's biggest thermal power facility, targeting a 1,200-megawatt gas-fired installation. The agreements for this project are set to be finalized before the end of the year, aiming to strengthen the nation's electricity generation.
