Bunkpurugu MP urges telecoms to stop network cuts in Northern Ghana

Dr Abednego A. Lamangin Bandim, MP for Bunkpurugu, said telecom operators “have not complied with directives” to maintain service during disruptions. He linked recent network failures to farmer hardship, lost market prices, and educational delays for school children.

The MP warned that continued outages could cost the nation “frantic resources” and warned of a possible return to under‑development if injuries are not treated promptly due to poor connectivity.
