62-Year-Old Headmaster Weeps After DNA Test Reveals Son Not Biologically His

A retired headmaster's 40-year fatherhood ends when DNA proves he is not the biological father of his son.
A 62-year-old retired headmaster, Kwadwo Addo, broke down in tears when a DNA test proved his 40-year-old son, Kwadwo Agyei, was not his biological child.
The revelation followed persistent claims by Kwaku Kyere, who said he was Agyei's biological father. The allegations shamed Agyei, leading him to seek truth on the Obra Show broadcast on NHYIRA 104.5 FM and ADOM TV.
Host Ohemaa Benewaah and her team arranged a DNA test involving Addo, Agyei and Kyere. Kyere did not attend the test. Results showed Addo was not Agyei's biological father, despite raising him for 40 years and supporting him fully, including buying him a car for work as a driver.
Madam Akua Anima, Agyei's mother, initially denied any relationship with another man but later admitted a one-night encounter with Kyere. She also named the late Mr Agyemang as another possible father.
Addo said he would renounce Agyei, change his name and demand compensation for 40 years of fatherhood. He first asked for GH¢4.5 million but lowered it to GH¢20,000. Anima pleaded for forgiveness, saying she could not afford the sum, but Addo refused to drop the demand.
The Obra Show team has stepped in to mediate and help settle the dispute. The case has sparked public talks about paternity, trust and the pain of hidden truths.
