The role: Mount Mary College of Education in Samanya, Eastern Region, is seeking qualified teachers to join its academic staff. The employer is the college itself, inviting applications for teaching positions across several subject areas. What you will do: Teach courses in Education (Curriculum Studies and Special Education), Ghanaian Language (Dangme), and English Language (Language and Literature, Linguistics, Lexico Semantics). Prepare and mark assignments and exam questions, supervise student projects and internships, invigilate examinations, conduct research and publish findings, engage in community outreach, contribute to curriculum development and academic administration, and promote professional development, collaborations, and grantsmanship. What you need: A PhD or M.Phil in the relevant subject area, plus a good bachelor’s degree in that field. Must have at least two years of experience as a Lecturer in a College of Education or similar tertiary institution. Demonstrated ICT skills for teaching and research are required. Candidates should be able to supervise student internships and participate in community service and outreach activities.
