Quality Assurance Officer at Kasapreko Company Ltd

The role: The Quality Assurance Officer will work under the Quality Assurance Supervisor at Kasapreko Company Ltd, a company in Ghana. The position is full‑time and based in several locations including Ablekuma, Aburi – Akuapem, Ashanti and Western North Region, Brong‑Ahafo Region, East Legon Hills, and Offinso District. What you will do: The officer will keep high standards of integrity and honesty, calibrate and record equipment, perform analyses on incoming materials, prepare reagents, monitor in‑process quality, control non‑conforming products, supervise cleaning and sanitation of equipment, conduct start‑up checks on packaging lines, monitor packaging integrity, pick and label retention samples, track caustic concentration and temperature during cleaning, update quality records, supervise inspectors and auxiliary staff, ensure hygienic conditions, and carry out other tasks as assigned. What you need: A degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Science Laboratory Technology or a related field, with at least three years of relevant post‑national‑service experience. Experience in ethanol production is a plus. Knowledge of food safety and quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP is required, as is the ability to analyse large data sets, write reports, communicate effectively, work with diverse teams, use MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint, and maintain strong organisational and safety practices.
