Procurement Manager at Reputable Company

The role: The position is a Procurement Manager offered by a reputable company based in Accra. The employer seeks a qualified professional to lead procurement and contract management activities in line with the Public Procurement Act and company policies. What you will do: Prepare and coordinate the annual procurement plan, consolidate departmental requirements, monitor implementation, provide advice to management, manage tenders and contract awards, maintain supplier databases, ensure compliance with regulations, oversee contract performance, and prepare procurement reports. Additional duties include supplier evaluation, inventory coordination, asset verification, and supporting audit processes. What you need: A Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus. Membership with CIPS, GIPS, or a recognized professional body is required. Certification in Public Procurement is advantageous. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role, preferably in the public sector or state-owned enterprise.
