National Service Personnel – Youth Employment & Skills at The African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET)

The role: The National Service Personnel will join ACET’s Youth Employment and Skills (YES) team in Accra, supporting the department’s day‑to‑day program implementation, coordinating logistics for events and meetings, managing digital content and knowledge resources, and providing administrative support. The position reports to the Head of YES and works closely with the program’s research, analysis, peer‑learning and policy‑engagement activities. What you will do: Conduct desk research and compile information on youth employment, education, TVET, skills development and labour‑market trends; prepare reports, presentations, briefs and routine correspondence; support knowledge‑management and records‑management activities; maintain and update content on the YES‑PACT Portal; organise and coordinate events, workshops and stakeholder engagements; assist in updating the YES Team Tracker and tracking deliverables; help coordinate the ACET Youth Wider Engagement, including participant communications, scheduling and logistics; perform any other duties assigned to support ACET’s mission. What you need: An undergraduate degree in Development Studies, Economics, Statistics or a related field; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); strong research, writing and analytical skills; excellent interpersonal and organisational abilities; ability to work collaboratively with limited oversight; a keen interest in youth employment, skills development, education and labour‑market issues; and the capacity to adapt quickly and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
