National Director – WV Ghana at World Vision
The role: The National Director will lead and direct World Vision Ghana’s strategy in alignment with national priorities and the organization’s mission. Based in Accra, the position reports to the global partnership and oversees a team of approximately 250 staff across regional offices in Accra and Tamale. The role involves driving child-focused programmes in health, education, and livelihoods for over 40,000 registered children, while ensuring financial sustainability and strong partnerships with government, churches, and donors. What you will do: Lead the Senior Leadership Team, develop and implement the FY26-30 Operations Strategy, and manage resource mobilisation through local fundraising and donor engagement. Ensure compliance with performance standards, succession planning, and staff development. Represent World Vision Ghana externally with government agencies, NGOs, and faith-based organisations, and maintain high standards of governance, financial stewardship, and ethical leadership. What you need: Proven leadership in large-scale development programmes, experience managing multi‑regional teams, and a strong understanding of Ghana’s development context. Demonstrated ability to secure and manage local funding, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and uphold Christian leadership values.
