Hiab Operator / Driver at Mantrac Ghana LTD

The role: Mantrac Ghana LTD seeks a qualified HIAB Operator/Driver to join their engineering team on a full-time basis. The employer is based in Ghana and requires a professional to safely operate HIAB trucks and associated vehicles for the transport of materials, equipment and goods across designated locations. What you will do: Operate HIAB crane trucks to load, unload, lift and position materials and equipment in line with approved lifting plans and load charts. Secure loads using appropriate rigging gear and coordinate closely with riggers, site personnel and customers to maintain safe lifting practices. Conduct pre-use and post-use inspections of vehicles and crane systems, ensure roadworthiness, maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any defects or malfunctions. Complete accurate delivery routes, logbooks and transport documentation, and promptly report accidents, delays or equipment issues to management. Adhere strictly to road traffic regulations, HSSE standards, company policies and industry safety protocols. What you need: Minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience operating HIAB cranes and heavy-duty vehicles within sectors such as construction, logistics, mining, oil and gas, manufacturing or warehousing. Must hold a valid driver’s license appropriate for heavy goods vehicles and possess certified HIAB/Truck Mounted Crane Operator qualifications. A valid lifting and riffing certification is preferred.
