Head Of Risk and Compliance at Reputable Company

The role: The Head of Risk and Compliance will report to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board, leading the Risk and Compliance Department of a specialized deposit‑taking institution. What you will do: Oversee the compliance and risk management division, develop and implement a compliance model, liaise with senior managers on policy implementation, identify and manage all types of risk across the organization, analyse data to forecast risks, implement internal controls and training, maintain a risk framework aligned with strategy, report risks to stakeholders, ensure adherence to Bank of Ghana regulations, conduct AML training, report suspicious activities, and keep an updated list of Politically Exposed Persons. What you need: A first degree in Risk Management, Finance or Economics from a recognized university, professional certification such as CAMS, CRCM or CRCP is a plus, at least five years experience as a Chief Risk Officer in a financial institution, strong knowledge of banking, company, employment and tax laws, excellent communication, mathematical, analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills, and leadership ability.
