Electric Motor Rewinders (LV & MV) at Electrofax Engineering Services (GH) LTD

The role: We are looking for a skilled Electric Motor Specialist to join Electrofax Engineering Services (GH) Ltd, an engineering firm based in Accra. The employer seeks a professional with deep hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining industrial electric motors. What you will do: Diagnose faults and repair low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) AC motors used in mining, power, cement, oil & gas and other heavy industries. Carry out full motor overhauls, perform insulation and winding tests, conduct vibration analysis and shaft alignment, install and commission motors on site, and prepare technical reports. Ensure all work follows OEM specs and safety standards, and support both breakdown response and planned maintenance. What you need: NVTI Part 1 & 2, HND, degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum five years of proven experience with industrial LV and MV motors, strong knowledge of induction, slip ring and synchronous motors, ability to read electrical drawings, and solid troubleshooting skills. Experience in mining, power generation, cement, oil & gas or similar environments is a plus. Familiarity with predictive maintenance, vibration analysis and laser alignment is preferred.
