Driver Grade III at West African Examinations Council

The role: The West African Examinations Council is recruiting a Driver Grade III to work in its Transport Department in Accra. The employer is a reputable public examination body operating across West Africa. What you will do: Convey materials, equipment and staff to required locations. Keep the assigned vehicle clean, tidy and in good working condition. Carry out proper vehicle repairs and perform daily routine maintenance checks. Undertake minor repair works on vehicles. Prepare and submit vehicle monitoring reports. Drive various types of vehicles and demonstrate defensive driving skills. Work long and irregular hours and undertake regular extensive travel as required. What you need: WASSCE/SSSCE/GBCE/GCE O‑Level with credits in at least five subjects including English and Mathematics. NVTI proficiency in a mechanical‑related field or a BECE plus NVTI Certificate I/II (Auto Related) / Motor Vehicle Mechanic. A valid Driving Licence ‘C’. At least one year of relevant post‑qualification experience in a reputable organisation. Demonstrate defensive driving, be well‑organised, systematic, safety‑conscious, accountable, responsible, punctual, a team player, personable, caring, helpful, reliable, diplomatic, have good personal grooming and neat appearance, and possess a high sense of integrity.
