The role: The Ghana Health Service is seeking a Driver to provide safe transport for staff, partners and materials across field sites, regional and district health directories and meeting venues. The position reports to the Transport Manager and involves daily vehicle checks, logbook maintenance and support for malaria commodity logistics. What you will do: Transport personnel and supplies safely to scheduled locations, conduct routine vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues promptly, keep accurate fuel and maintenance records, assist with logistics for commodity distribution and official errands such as document dispatch, and strictly follow road safety rules and the GHS Transport Policy at all times. What you need: A valid Ghanaian driver’s license with a clean record, at least SSCE/WASSCE or equivalent, three years of driving experience preferably in the public or health sector, basic vehicle maintenance knowledge, strong road safety and defensive driving skills, ability to read road signs and travel to remote areas, and good interpersonal and communication abilities. Punctuality, reliability, integrity and discretion are essential.
