The role: Data Manager at Ghana Health Service, reporting to the Chief Health Information Officer, is based in Accra and focuses on managing key malaria surveillance databases such as DHIMS2. The employer is the Ghana Health Service, a public health agency. What you will do: Maintain and secure NMEP databases, collect and validate malaria data from districts, analyse programmatic data, produce reports and dashboards, support regional officers with data tools, prepare routine and donor reports, document processes, ensure data backup, and collaborate on health information systems. What you need: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Public Health or related field; Master’s degree is advantageous. Minimum three years experience in data management within public health or M&E. Proficiency in DHIMS2 and analysis tools like Excel, SPSS, Stata, R, PowerB. Strong analytical, organisational, communication and capacity-building skills. Ability to work independently and travel for data support.
