Customer Accounts & Sales Officer at BB Bakery

The role: BB Bakery is seeking a Customer Accounts & Sales Officer to manage external customer accounts, revenue collection, and support business growth. The position reports to the CEO and involves regular local and occasional wider travel. About the Company: BB Bakery is a Ghanaian bakery focused on expanding its customer base and supply network. What you will do: Monitor customer accounts and collect revenue, maintain accurate payment and supply records, follow up on overdue balances, and establish credit control systems. Accompany suppliers on delivery routes to learn customer locations, ordering patterns, and payment terms. Build and maintain customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, and support marketing through WhatsApp, social media, and direct engagement. Keep detailed records of transactions, discrepancies, and route activities. Provide regular reports to the CEO on outstanding balances, collections, and new customers. Support SSNIT processing and collaborate with Finance & Administration Officer on financial reconciliations. What you need: A degree or similar academic qualification. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with figures. Ability to create and follow simple systems, work independently, and use Excel/Google Sheets, WhatsApp, and email. Must be confident in following up payments while maintaining customer relationships, observant to spot discrepancies, and willing to travel.
