The role: The College Principal will lead Seventh-day Adventist College of Education in Agona-Ashanti, a public tertiary teacher‑education institution affiliated with the University of Cape Coast. The college seeks a distinguished scholar with a Ph.D. and at least ten years of progressive experience, including five years in senior leadership, to provide strategic direction, oversee academic and financial operations, and uphold the institution’s values of excellence and integrity. What you will do: Provide overall leadership and direction for the college; manage academic, administrative, and financial functions; develop and implement quality teaching and learning programmes; nurture relationships with staff, students, alumni, and the wider community; secure grants, partnerships, and funding for research and innovation; and promote the college’s reputation and standards of excellence. What you need: Rank not below Associate Professor in a college of education, university, or equivalent; hold a Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant field; have at least ten years of teaching/research experience, with five years in senior management; demonstrate proven leadership, teamwork, crisis management, and decision‑making abilities; possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and have in‑depth knowledge of Ghana’s higher‑education landscape and policies.
