Blending Officer at Kasapreko Company Ltd

The role is a Blending Officer reporting to the Blending Supervisor at Kasapreko Company Ltd in Kumasi. The employer is a beverage manufacturing company seeking a qualified professional to manage daily blending operations and ensure product quality. What you will do: Receive the blending program from the supervisor and prepare a daily blending schedule. Enter production orders into SAP for all blended products. Liaise with the on‑duty engineer to start CIP when needed. Supervise weighing and dissolving of ingredients, cross‑checking with the MFR before blending. Perform daily scale checks against standard weights to verify calibration. Verify volume settings in the BDM for each recipe. Request sugar and acid quantities from stores for syrup preparation and confirm correct parameters. Analyze blends and syrups to confirm parameters are within range before QA review. Follow up on the final documentation once QA records the parameters. Record, label and store all production returns for rework. Prevent unauthorized entry into the blending hall. Monitor FA tanks for product backup. Receive concentrate and alcohol from suppliers using INDAG SYSTEMS. Ensure a constant supply of RO water. Track blend volumes in INDAG SYSTEMS and compare with actual volumes. What you need: A degree in Chemistry, Food Science or a related field. Minimum three years of relevant experience in food processing or bottling, or one year in syrup room operations and beverage processing. Strong communication and report‑writing abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and the capacity to work independently with diverse teams. Ability to work extra hours when required. Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and a strong safety mindset. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ERP systems, especially SAP.
