Wassa Nkran COP
Come join us at Wassa Nkran COP where worshippers gather in peaceful fellowship by the side of Nkrang's old market square beneath the big baobab tree that marks the town centre. Visitors can expect below exterior plaster walls painted in that familiar Ghanaian green and usually a few plastic chairs lined up under a shaded veranda before the simple altar. By late afternoon the sound of shared hymns often drifts out into the dusty road while vendors outside Nkrang's main roundabout sell boiled plantains and groundnut bowls. This quiet sanctuary rests just behind the early morning fishmongers' stalls near where the road bends toward the river dock. You will find it marked only by a hand-painted sign propped against a painted wooden pillar beside the only road that leads deeper into Nkrang's residential lanes.
