Mr Yaw Matwa Primary and JHS is a school for the children of Yamatwa. You can expect a friendly learning place where pupils study English math and many Ghanaian subjects. It is set at the heart of the village near the main footpath where families live. Nearby there is a small chicken stall and a few other homes close by. The school is built on the ground that the local town council set aside many years ago. It is a place that helps children learn and grow amongst their own family community. Sorry no phone or website but you can find them there. You can knock on the door during school hours if you wish to look around. Just ask your neighbour for the best route. It is close to the water tap that the village uses daily. The area feels calm and peaceful most days. Children often play on the dusty ground during breaks.
